Start Getting Notifications from Washington Terrace City For Things You Care About

Washington Terrace is excited to introduce new communication tools, powered by the Yoppify platform. It will allow the City to communicate with City residents and customers via:

  • Text
  • Email
  • Recorded audio messages sent sent through phone call

 

What Will the City Do With This Program?

The City will use this tool to notify you when there is a service disruption that affects you. That includes culinary water shutoffs and road projects/closures in your neighborhood.

You can also opt-in for notifications on topics that interest you such as:

  • City Special Events (including Terrace Days)
  • Recreation Programs
  • Major Roadwork Projects and/or Road Closures (for information on road closures and projects that are not in your neighborhood)

Note: this is not the same program operated by Weber County (powered by Everbridge) that is used for emergency notifications

 

What Will The City Not Do With This Program?

  • The City is committed to purpose-driven communication; all messages sent will transmit timely and applicable information, not spam, to your device.
  • The City will not sell or share your data. This program and your contact data will only be used for City communication.


Where Does Your Contact Information Come From?

  1. The Utility Billing Database:
    • The contact information from your utility billing account with the City has been securely joined with the new communications tool allowing for direct contact with you.
  2. You:
    • To make this tool most effective we recommend that you update your contact information and preferences here. That way notifications reach you in the way that you prefer. Would you rather get a text or an email? Is a phone call more your speed? Update your preferences and let us know.
