Washington Terrace City Parks & Recreation Department is dedicated to providing its citizens with meaningful leisure time activities and facilities geared toward improving their physical, mental, and social well-being. With great parks, programs, and facilities, you'll find we have something for everyone.

Youth Programs and Community Events

The City provides a wide variety of recreational activities for youth of all age groups, along with exciting community events throughout the year. Washington Terrace City Parks

Washington Terrace City parks have lots to offer. Sports fields, pavilions, walking trails, playgrounds, great views and more. *NO alcohol or smoking allowed in buildings or on city property.

Park Facility Rentals

The City has made Victory Park and Little Rohmer Park available for rent to its citizens. Reservations can be made online or in-person at City Hall. For more information, please call (801) 393-8681. Click on the Park Facility Rentals link for more information.

Civic Community Senior Center

The Washington Terrace Civic Senior Community Center and its programs are available to all community residents. It operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for those ages 55 and older.

Terrace City Trails

Exercise is a fundamental necessity in maintaining one's health. One beneficial exercise is that of walking, jogging, or running. See the walking trails map on this page.

Volunteer Information

Washington Terrace City always accepts volunteers. We would be happy to get you involved in an area that best fits your interests, time and our needs. The City also works with those individuals seeking Eagle Scout projects.
