Green Waste Drop-Off

Green waste may also be dropped off at the Washington Terrace Public Works Shop
  • Location: 575 East 5600 South
  • Operational Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Saturday
  • Restrictions: Commercial dumping will not be allowed. This service is for Washington Terrace residents only.

Accepted Green Waste:

  • Grass clippings
  • Weeds
  • Tree limbs
  • Leaves
  • Bushes
Grass, leaves, and weeds must be bagged or boxed and weigh no more than 35lbs. All items must be contained, four feet or shorter, and weigh less than 35 lbs. Any items that do not meet this description WILL NOT be collected curbside or accepted at the drop off location.

Non-Acceptable Materials:

The following items will not be accepted for pickup or at the drop-off facility:

  • Any type of trash
  • Concrete
  • Any metal
  • Furniture or appliances
  • Paint
  • Tires
  • Pesticides
  • Chemicals or hazardous waste
