NO PERSONAL FIREWORKS | JULY 22–25, 2026
Washington Terrace Fire Department
NO PERSONAL FIREWORKS | JULY 22–25, 2026
The safety of our community remains our top priority.
Prior to the Fourth of July, Governor Spencer Cox issued Executive Order 2026-04 in response to the extreme wildfire danger across Utah. Following that order, the Utah State Forester issued a new order on July 20 allowing municipalities experiencing continued hazardous fire conditions to extend fireworks restrictions during the Pioneer Day holiday. Washington Terrace has requested and received those expanded restrictions.
Personal fireworks are prohibited in Washington Terrace from July 22–25, 2026.
Current conditions remain extremely dry, and it only takes one spark to start a wildfire that threatens homes, businesses, and lives.
We appreciate the outstanding cooperation shown by our residents during the Fourth of July holiday, and we ask for your continued support this Pioneer Day. Your commitment to keeping fireworks out of our community has already made a difference.
Together, we can continue protecting our neighborhoods, our firefighters, and the beautiful community we call home.
