Street maintenance and infrastructure development is a little like being conscious during surgery; although the process may be uncomfortable, the end result brings relief and improvement in quality of life.

City staff meticulously prioritize annual street maintenance initiatives and infrastructure enhancements to ensure the ongoing preservation of the city's assets.

Several projects are currently in the planning phase for summer 2025. This year’s initiatives include:

• Sealing and resurfacing of street cracks
• Enhancements to the sidewalks at the north entrance of Rohmer Park, located at 5100 S. 600 W.
• Enhancements to the sidewalks at the north entrance of Rohmer Park, located at 5100 S. 600 W.
• Sewer pipelining on 500 west between 4800 S. and 4400 S.

Before the commencement of each project, a detailed map indicating the location and project timeline will be made available on the city website, along with updates on the project's status throughout the construction phase.
