Can I have chickens in Washington Terrace?

A: Yes. Owner-occupied single-family dwellings can obtain a permit for chickens. It is important to obtain a land use permit and complete a site plan prior to building a coop/run or getting chickens.

 If you prefer to apply for a Residential Chicken License permit in person, please print the application PDF file below, fill it out, and bring it to the Washington Terrace City Hall.
